Sustainability

Integrated Sustainability

For SeedFuture, sustainability – environmental, social and economic – is a guiding principle that directs every strategic and operational choice in the name of responsibility for the well-being of the earth.

The Group integrates ESG – environmental, social and governance – criteria in all its activities, aware that the future of the agri-food sector and renewable energies is essential from the ecological transition. Supporting the health of the planet, people and communities means creating shared and lasting value, in line with the 2030 Agenda and the development SDGs established by the UN.

Environmental sustainability

Environmental sustainability is constitutive of the ‘natural production’ on which SeedFuture is based and translates into concrete actions to regenerate the soil, reduce the impact of agricultural activities and preserve natural resources.

By promoting innovative crops such as Silphie, the Group contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions – 389 tons/year in 2024 – saving water – 466,8 tons/year of water saved – and protection of biodiversity.

Each project is inspired by the same guiding principles: produce with respect for the planet, guarantee quality and safety. A challenging and transversal commitment that aims to develop a model of regenerative agriculture and circular economy capable of guaranteeing sustainable results in the long term.
