Innovation and quality: AgriBio Romania’s ambitious project continues

In the Timiș district, in the heart of western Romania, the “AgriBio Model” carries out a high-quality, traceable and environmentally friendly organic agricultural development project. We are engaged in the processing of organic sunflower, rapeseed and soy seeds, thereby strengthening one of Europe’s main supply chains dedicated to sustainable oilseeds.

Our strength is the long-standing direct collaboration with local farmers who have been growing organic products for years, ensuring compliance with strict European standards. This approach allows us to establish continuous and trusting relationships with local operators, guaranteeing a transparent and responsible supply chain.

The production target for the Timiș district is ambitious: 30,000 tonnes of organic sunflower and rapeseed seeds , destined to pressing and processing at two dedicated plants. Processing produces organic oil and oilcakes that supply the European market, in particular Eastern Europe, contributing to the growth of an agri-food chain with minimal environmental impact and high ethical value.

Every phase of the process, from cultivation to processing, is monitored through rigorous compliance and sustainability analyses, guaranteeing high standards and total product traceability. The goal is to ensure zero environmental impact, confirming AgriBio’s role as a reliable partner for companies and operators that focus on responsible and certified sourcing.

Looking ahead, AgriBio is planning new investments in Romania to expand the range of organic products, introducing the production of shea butter, sunflower lecithin and coconut stearin. A further step in the construction of a more sustainable, innovative and inclusive agro-industrial system, capable of combining competitiveness, respect for people and protection of the planet.
